Dry-type water meters, with their metering mechanism isolated from the measured water volume, are unaffected by suspended impurities in the water. This design ensures both the normal operation of the metering system and clear readings.
It also differs from wet-type water meters, where temperature differences between the inner and outer walls of the glass tube can cause atomization or condensation, which may interfere with meter readings.

Functions of Dry Single-Flow Mechanical Watch
(1) Ultra-long-distance communication
Communication distance between concentrator and water meter: 4-5 km in urban environments; 10-15 km in rural environments.
(2) Ultra-low power consumption and long service life
The average power consumption of the water meter module is ≤20μA.
The system features three operating modes: LOP1, LOP2, and LOP3, with response times of 12 seconds, 24 hours-12 seconds, and 24 hours, respectively. Based on the ER18505 battery operating at only 50% capacity, the service life of the instrument module is 6 years, 8 years, and 10 years.

Frequency hopping technology can avoid interference on the same channel and improve transmission reliability.
